Printing Operator
About The Position
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Printing Operator for our Sibley Iowa location. Reporting to the Production Department Shift Supervisor, this position is to efficiently and safely operate the machine with a maximum of 4-7 colors, to produce high quality print in a productive manner. The printing operator positions are essential to a smooth production flow in the plant. High quality print must be provided for the converting operations in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery to the end user. Quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery is vital to the profitability of this facility. Efficient, productive operation of the machine with no defective product getting to the customer is critical to a profitable operation. The customer expects a product that is in spec and will run efficiently on their equipment and perform as expected in the marketplace. Operators have the responsibility to accomplish this with their machine and provide their in-house customers with a product that they can work with.
