Printing and Converting Operator

About The Position
Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging. This role operates in a clean, air-conditioned work environment with all new machinery. The position is for the second shift, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery.
- Experience with large rolls of paper or plastic.
- Knowledge and use of various hand tools including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Basic Math skills.
- Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
- Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
- Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, and quantities meet standards.
- Keep the work area clean.
