The Printer Repair Technician has a strong technical background in printer maintenance and repair, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of printers, both in-house and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for its customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical and/or printer certification or related certification is preferred.
1+ years proven experience in printer repair and maintenance, with knowledge of various printer brands and models.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with computer systems and networking is a plus.
Ability to travel as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in Teams applications
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial settings and offices.
The ability to pass a drug screen and backgriound check.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot printer issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on print products to include technical diagnostics, break/fix, installation, hardware removal and troubleshoot connectivity.
Prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
Ability to track inventory supply.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
Keep up to date with the latest printer technology and repair techniques.
Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
Provide training and support to customers on printer operation and maintenance
Practice safety in the workplace and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
