About The Position

Q is seeking a hands-on 3D Printer Technician to support our additive manufacturing operations. This role is focused on the execution of 3D printing and post-processing activities , including operating printers, handling fragile printed components, and performing powder removal and part cleaning in accordance with established procedures. This is a shop-floor, execution-focused role for someone who can work independently, follow detailed work instructions, and take ownership of day-to-day printing and post-processing tasks. This position does not involve design or engineering responsibilities.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment

• Experience with metal 3D printing
• Experience with binder jet additive manufacturing
• Experience with powder handling, depowdering, or post-processing operations
• Prior manufacturing or production environment experience

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 3D printing equipment during active builds
• Safely remove, handle, and process fragile printed parts
• Perform powder removal, depowdering, and part cleaning operations
• Follow build sheets, work instructions, and safety procedures with consistency
• Conduct basic visual inspections and identify obvious defects or issues
• Safely handle printing materials and powders
• Clean and maintain build areas, equipment, and associated tooling
• Accurately log builds, part counts, and issues
• Promptly report equipment, material, or quality concerns
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
