About The Position

As a PCB Technologist at Intel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Intel's most demanding platforms, ranging from AI, Datacenter to Client Graphics, wireless cards and network adapters. Your contributions will be instrumental in outlining technology boundaries of manufacturability and complexity that will influence board/product architecture decisions and impact performance, quality and cost. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in a specialized field or equivalent experience in supply chain, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years with a Master's degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement material inspection methodologies to enhance quality and reliability across the supply chain.
  • Conduct should cost analysis of product concepts, and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and yield.
  • Support Intel's product long-range planning by defining advanced methodology capabilities to align with our supply chain roadmap.
  • Explore and benchmark emerging industry technologies to contribute to Intel's future technology definitions and requirements.
  • Highlight gaps between supply chain strategy, manufacturing capabilities, and market needs, proposing actionable solutions.
  • Track supply-and-demand trends, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective action plans to drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate with business unit and pathfinding organization partners to implement solutions that improve quality, reliability, yield, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with commodity managers and technical/quality stakeholders for supplier selection and performance compliance.
  • Lead alternate sourcing risk mitigation strategies for single-sourced commodities.
  • Establish control standards, define KPIs, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with operational targets.
  • Drive supplier process validation activities, ensuring compliance with critical process requirements throughout development.
  • Lead quality excursion management, driving failure mode analysis and supplier improvements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and benchmarking techniques to drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analyses and implement process improvements.
  • Experience with PCB fabrication, signal integrity, and supplier quality management.
