About The Position

This role is responsible for the technical execution, demonstration, and application development of our wide-format inkjet printing technology. The position ensures that our demo facilities are world-class and that customers receive expert-level guidance on hardware, software, and media applications. Focus: Product Demonstration & Technical Training Role Summary: In this role, the specialist takes on a more customer-facing responsibility, demonstrating equipment capabilities, delivering end-user training, and supporting both technical service and sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience with wide-format RIP software (RasterLink, Onyx, Caldera, Flexi, etc.).
  • Associates Degree and/or five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in production, printing, and/or signage industry with large format printers and flatbed cutters.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with RasterLink, Flexi, Onyx or similar RIP software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of Level I with a higher degree of autonomy.
  • Conduct live product demonstrations in the demo room, at trade shows, and via webinars.
  • Provide data for the tracking of local customer demos and sample requests.
  • Provide basic technical training to customers on hardware operation and routine maintenance.
  • Develop intermediate-level applications (e.g., multi-layered prints, specialty substrates, basic dye-sublimation).
  • Troubleshooting basic output issues and optimizing print settings for specific jobs.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common print tasks.
