About The Position

The Print and Sign Services Coordinator manages the efficient routing of jobs to the print center, sign shop, or design team, ensuring that customer deadlines are met with precision. This role involves overseeing quality assurance for all printed materials, providing accurate pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Coordinator is also responsible for assisting in the planning, direction, and routing of both small and large-scale print and design projects. The position entails comprehensive management of various printed materials, including forms, pamphlets, reports, posters, flyers, and marketing materials, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to deadlines. 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 3:30pm - Midnight In office position Essential Functions Print Job Management: Oversee the processing of a wide range of printed materials, including forms, pamphlets, reports, posters, flyers, signage, and marketing materials, ensuring efficient and timely routing and completion. High-End Equipment Operation: Operate and manage high-end equipment as needed (segment 5+), including inkjet presses, digital printers, bindery, shipping & fulfillment, quality checking, final inspections, equipment service & maintenance, and facility maintenance. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by accurately preparing, inspecting, compiling, and assembling projects in a timely manner. Deadline Adherence: Meet deadlines by working at a steady pace while maintaining high-quality, error-free output. Reporting: Maintain all required reporting tools and documentation related to print jobs and equipment. Equipment Calibration: Calibrate equipment to ensure color and quality consistency, matching original specifications. File Transfer: Transfer files electronically from the network to printing equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Error-Free Production: Demonstrate thorough operational knowledge of equipment to produce error-free and high-quality work. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with equipment, and manage inventory and ordering of equipment parts. Achieves Time Productive statistics by meeting standards established by the facility. Performs finishing tasks which include: Cutting - Cutting printed materials to precise sizes and shapes using various tools. Folding - Accurately folding printed materials using paper folders, creasing machines, and folding units in printing presses. Bindery - Binding printed materials using various methods, including stapling, stitching, gluing, and using different binding systems. Laminating - Applying protective films to print materials using lamination equipment. Collating - Assembling pages or sheets of print materials in a specific order using collating machines. Maximizes performance as workflow permits, by simultaneously performing a minimum of two functions on finishing equipment. Performs routine checks and basic maintenance on finishing equipment. Presents professional appearance by dressing in a professional attire according to company standards. Presents and maintains a clean and organized working area. Meets company attendance standards by reporting to work punctually and working all scheduled hours and any required overtime. Organizes a “job” by validating job name and number, reading instructions on the job request form to accurately producing work in line with job specifications and organizing supplies. Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on a core set of highly complex office products. Demonstrates required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignments. Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
