This Production Associate role, specifically as a Digital Printer Operator, is crucial in printing orders using various systems and media on wide format printers. The operator will manage computer programs for printing, perform light maintenance on printers and dryers/shakers, ensure print quality, and troubleshoot technology issues to guarantee high-quality and timely order delivery.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED (required)
Experienced, great attitude, and aptitude for leadership
Great attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills; able to learn/use Rip software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Google sheets
Able to troubleshoot technical details (printer operations) and use Root cause analysis on print quality issues.
Ability to learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors and able to identify a variety of quality issues.
Ability to work in a structured and process-oriented environment
Ability to multi-task and solve problems
Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

Uses various software packages to prepare and print order files, including executing the process of getting artwork from network locations into the correct software for production.
Executes prints in different formats such as transfers, wall clings, banners, and UV prints.
Understands the production schedule and prioritizes orders to meet or exceed delivery dates.
Performs light printer maintenance, including refilling inks, cleaning nozzles and print heads, monitoring and refilling powder in dryer/shakers, and draining and cleaning oil from dryer/shakers at the end of the shift.
Monitors the quality of all printed items, identifies print quality issues, reports them, and troubleshoots to resolve them.
Accurately tracks and reports productivity, reprints, and errors.
Assists in maintaining materials and supplies inventory.
May load/unload material rolls.
Cuts and sorts transfers, and matches paperwork to transfers when required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
