About The Position

PostNet in Northlake is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Print Production and Customer Service Associate. This hands-on position combines customer service, digital printing, shipping, packaging, and mailbox services. Approximately 35% of the role involves print production and working with customer graphic files, with the remainder focused primarily on assisting customers with shipping, packaging, mailbox services, and other business needs. Basic familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Photoshop is required. Previous print-production experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate on our printing equipment, processes, and production workflow.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Photoshop. You don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable navigating the programs and performing basic tasks.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software and equipment.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willing to learn both the printing and shipping sides of our business.
  • Available to work Saturdays from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Regular standing and movement throughout the workday are required. Must be able to safely lift and move packages weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous print-production experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience with digital printing, graphic design, Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, print/copy centers, sign production, commercial printing, shipping, or packaging is a plus.
  • A college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Process UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS shipments and assist with packaging solutions.
  • Review and prepare customer files for print using Adobe software.
  • Operate digital printing and finishing equipment, including cutting, folding, binding, and laminating.
  • Communicate with customers about print specifications, proofs, deadlines, and order status.
  • Recommend printing, shipping, and other solutions based on customer needs.
  • Accurately process orders and payments and help maintain an organized, professional center.
