The Print Operations Supervisor will focus on productivity by leading all activities within their assigned area, working towards goals and objectives to ensure they are met. They will also focus on continuous improvement by using a disciplined problem-solving approach, using PDCA/A3 tools with our leadership team and operators to achieve or exceed cost reduction targets. Lastly, they will focus on leadership by leading and motivating their team as they provide direction and support to carry out the goals and objectives of their area as well as the company. This position is based out of Hallmark's production facility in Leavenworth, KS. This is a fulltime, onsite position with 3rd shift hours (approx. 11p - 8a, Sunday - Friday).

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Associates Degree or higher OR a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in print, supply chain, engineering, or production operations
  • Experience managing direct reports in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a Lean or continuous improvement environment
  • Experience with print and/or manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Project management experience
  • Adept at seeing opportunities to improve upon the status quo and implementing solutions
  • Familiarity with Lean principles

Responsibilities
