About The Position

Aptive Resources LLC is seeking a Principle Agilist to lead all SAFe® transformation and Agile delivery activities across the Office of Clinical Informatics (OCI). This role is responsible for driving Lean-Agile maturity, value delivery, and organizational change at scale. The Principle Agilist serves as the senior authority for SAFe® implementation, coaching, and continuous improvement and as the enterprise authority for SAFe® standards, governance, and transformation outcomes across OCI.

Requirements

• Certified SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC).
• Minimum of 20 years of experience developing IT solutions.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading SAFe® transformations in large organizations.
• Demonstrated expertise driving enterprise-scale Agile adoption.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal healthcare or VA programs.
• Experience with large, distributed Agile teams.
• Strong executive facilitation and coaching skills.
• Background in digital health or clinical informatics environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all SAFe® transformation activities across OCI.
• Coach executive leadership, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams on Lean-Agile principles and practices.
• Guide Agile Release Train (ART) launches, program increments, and value stream optimization.
• Accountable for improving flow, predictability, and value realization across OCI Agile Release Trains.
• Ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and measurable value delivery.
• Support continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and maturity assessments.
• Partner with Principal Program Management and OCI leadership to align SAFe® execution with contractual delivery commitments
