The Principal is responsible for ensuring high-quality implementation of instructional expectations, including balanced instruction, standards, and formative assessment. This role involves establishing and maintaining clear, consistent communications with parents, families, and community partners to receive input and feedback on school effectiveness, improve family engagement, and resolve concerns. The Principal will anticipate and plan for staffing needs, meet all staffing timelines, and develop, implement, and monitor Continuous School Improvement Plans (CSIP) aimed at improving student performance. Responsibilities also include observing and evaluating employee performance, supervising student and staff conduct, and monitoring their progress toward specified goals. A key aspect of this role is establishing a positive school climate with high expectations, interactive teaching, and clearly defined goals and objectives. The Principal will implement procedures to ensure a safe and orderly school environment and develop and manage a school budget according to established regulations and guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned will also be part of this role.
