The Principal is responsible for pursuing the vision and executing the mission of the Academy. This role provides instructional leadership and direction to staff, supervises and observes all instructional programs and practices, and manages hiring, evaluation, and termination of staff as needed. The Principal serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors, establishing and promoting high standards for students and staff. This position involves managing effective procedures for the Academy's operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and establishing the annual master schedule. The Principal evaluates lesson plans, observes classes, and supervises discipline and attendance systems to ensure a safe and orderly environment. They are expected to display the highest ethical and professional behavior, serve as a role model, and maintain visibility with students, teachers, parents, and the Board. Regular communication with parents is essential to foster a cooperative relationship. The Principal must also ensure a safe, healthy, and attractive facility, develop emergency procedures, and perform other duties as assigned by the Management Company or Board of Directors.
