About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Wireless/RF Engineer to work on challenging programs in support of advanced electronic sub-systems for Radar, Electronic Warfare and Missile applications ranging from MHz to 40GHz. This role requires strong RF technical knowledge coupled with strong communication skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
5+ years related experience designing and developing advanced miniature microwave subsystems and components.
Experience with linear, non-linear, and EM simulations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

Direct DoD experience designing converters and synthesizers up to 40 GHz.
Experience with ADS, MWO, HFSS, and Sonnet.
Prior successful project engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform RF hardware design, requirements specification compliance analysis, RF simulations (Microwave Office, HFSS), design validation, product integration oversight and transition to production support.
Technical lead for projects guiding a team of highly skilled engineers with diverse RF, analog and testing experience to achieve technical compliance within schedule and budget.
Technical lead for proposals.
Provide labor estimates for both recurring and non-recurring engineering.
