About The Position

Principal Transformation Consultant is a new role within UCSF Health’s Office of Transformation, reporting to the VP, Transformation. The Office aims to accelerate results across multiple strategic and operational initiatives, ultimately ensuring UCSF Health’s vision and priorities are consistently realized. You will be responsible, in collaboration with the VP, Transformation, for developing the approach, process, and underlying project management and initiative execution infrastructure for driving the enterprise initiative portfolio and return under the Office of Transformation. This will include building the appropriate methodologies and tools for defining, measuring, and reporting on initiative objectives, milestones, key success metrics, ROI, and ultimate impact. You will also be personally responsible for concurrently driving two to three initiatives from inception to implementation in collaboration with the executive sponsor and initiative owner. 10+ years of experience desired across strategic thinking, problem solving, analytics, financial analysis and budgeting, and project management in a health system environment. Expert-level skills working with executives, senior clinicians, and others to facilitate/lead opportunity analysis, recommend innovative solutions, structure reliable implementation plans, develop related budgets, identify key metrics/required reporting, and effectively manage initiatives to achieve targeted results. Regularly works on highly complex issues or problems that require analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure. Exercises a high level of judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Takes personal ownership for advancing significant change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience desired across strategic thinking, problem solving, analytics, financial analysis and budgeting, and project management in a health system environment.

Responsibilities
