About The Position

This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require up to 75% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. The Principal Training and Education Specialist will deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy. In this role you will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in clinical training, medical device sales with training responsibilities, or clinical education OR Associate's Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience in clinical training, medical device sales with training responsibilities, or clinical education OR Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in clinical training, medical device sales with training responsibilities, or clinical education

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management
  • Strong background of clinical experience with ties to training healthcare professionals
  • Experience in robotic surgery, capital equipment, or comparable advanced medical technology
  • Proven experience training on complex clinical topics or technology
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to learn quickly in fast‑paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training partner facilities
  • Establish relationships with designated external training entities in targeted geographies
  • Work with the marketing and sales training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs
  • Support RAS System troubleshooting at the training center
  • Manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • In conjunction with training center staff, maintain all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories
