About The Position

Microsoft Threat Intelligence is seeking an experienced security research and threat intelligence leader to join its team in Israel. The role leads a team of threat intelligence analysts while remaining directly engaged in intelligence work. It combines technical and analytical expertise with people leadership to help the team understand and anticipate sophisticated threat actors, prioritize investigations, identify intelligence gaps, and deliver high-impact intelligence outcomes. Microsoft’s management model emphasizes analytic leadership. Managers are expected to lead through expertise, vision, trust, and shared accountability, with people-management activities supporting the team’s work rather than serving as the primary focus. The position works with Microsoft security organizations and relevant technical, intelligence, product, and leadership stakeholders, and fosters an inclusive, collaborative environment centered on intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and continuous learning.
