Requirements

Technical sourcing and procurement expertise for emerging technology categories (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, Internet of Things, and automation).
Contract negotiation and supplier agreement management (including commercial terms, service levels, and deliverables).
Supplier performance management, including governance rhythms, scorecards/metrics, and remediation planning.
Cost analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling to support sourcing recommendations.
Risk management across technology sourcing (e.g., third-party risk considerations, compliance alignment, and continuity planning).
Working knowledge of security controls and how they are incorporated into supplier onboarding and contractual obligations.
2+ years of related experience.
Experience leading significant sourcing initiatives with strategic autonomy and measurable business impact.
Experience influencing executive decisions through data-driven recommendations and cross-functional alignment.
Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced staff through complex sourcing work.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired and potentially an advanced degree.
Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for emerging technologies (cloud, AI/ML, Internet of Things, and automation) that align to business and technical roadmaps.
Lead supplier selection activities, including market research, competitive comparisons, and stakeholder alignment to support technology adoption.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements to deliver favorable commercial terms, clear deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
Own ongoing supplier management—performance reviews, issue resolution, and adherence to security controls and contractual obligations.
Partner with business unit and cross-functional teams to provide cost analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations that inform executive decisions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and proactively manage sourcing risks to support compliance and continuity.
