The Principal Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation process of specific company products. This involves leading departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Key responsibilities include planning and directing schedules, monitoring budget and spending, and overseeing the project from initiation through delivery. The role requires organizing interdepartmental activities to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget constraints, as well as assigning and monitoring the work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. This position also entails providing leadership and expertise in the development of new products, services, and processes, often operating at the leading edge of technology, and recommending and justifying major changes to existing products, services, or processes.
