About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continuous access to innovation. The Mechanical Products and Services team within AIS and Data Center Engineering is focused on driving innovation in mechanical cooling and controls systems for data centers. This role involves developing and deploying the next generation of liquid cooling infrastructure for AWS data centers, working closely with builders and third-party manufacturers. The Principal Technical Product Manager will define strategy, provide technical guidance, and lead the team in executing this strategy, with a focus on system-level product strategy for mechanical products/solutions, extensive understanding of liquid-cooled solutions, and operational quality and scalability. This position requires the ability to influence product strategy and roadmaps, define customer requirements, develop compelling product strategies, and partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to implement these strategies at AWS scale. Intermittent travel, approximately 30%, is expected for this role, including domestic and potentially international travel to AWS offices, data centers, suppliers, vendors, and product validation tests.
