About The Position

This role is remote and can be filled anywhere in the United States. The Principal Technical Product Engineer will define and validate enterprise architectures for machine identity, secrets governance, and agentic identity management across diverse environments. The individual will own and develop internal and external facing assets, such as blogs, whitepapers, tech enablement, and deep dive decks. They will partner with specialist sellers and technical solutions teams to support high-impact opportunities involving secrets modernization, machine identity governance, and securing AI agents. The role involves engaging in complex customer environments to ensure that the identity security platform is a core part of the conversation for deploying modern workloads, including machine and AI. The engineer will support revenue growth by influencing deal outcomes and supporting strategic deal acceleration where expertise beyond what is available in the field is needed. They will build reference architectures and impactful demos to support customer adoption, partner integration, and industry best practices. Additionally, the role will help scale the global technical solutions team by transforming emerging identity solutions into repeatable field motions through technical workshops, enablement programs, and reusable architecture frameworks. The engineer will feed actionable insights to product by continuously learning from customers and external sources about the challenges of modern identity, specifically as it relates to machines and AI. Finally, they will establish leadership in machine and AI Identity security through executive briefings, industry conference presentations, technical publications, and media engagements, and drive community discussions and market education showing how organizations should approach identity-first security for machines, workloads, and AI agents.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years experience working closely with customers as a technology expert, paired with strong customer advocacy skills and experience.
  • Ability to adapt to emerging technology trends, particularly in identity security, specifically concerning machine and agentic identity.
  • A self-starter who brings a "builder mindset" and has a strong desire to continuously learn and experience with new technologies.
  • Proven ability to work in challenging customer situations and successfully manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills.
