As part of the sales team, this position provides technical sales support to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products. Collaborates and contributes to unit sales plan through a diverse scope of pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities requiring the highly complex and diverse solutions.
Requirements
- Full working knowledge of assigned products and services.
- Seasoned, in-depth knowledge of the relevant functional/process area; recognized subject matter expertise.
- Flexibility to work from a customer site, remote response center, corporate location, or other site (as assigned).
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for RAD MP4100 voice and transport platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice, network, and service delivery issues.
- Provide Juniper routing and switching engineering support for mission-critical networks.
- Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Support customer escalations and high-priority operational events.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal engineering teams, and customer stakeholders to maintain service availability.
- Develop and review network and voice infrastructure designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation.
- Support mission-critical NASA programs, including operational readiness activities and communications infrastructure supporting agency initiatives.
