As a Principal Tech Product Manager, you will define and drive the technical product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with market demands, and delivering customer-centric software solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (MS/MA) desired in Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
  • Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.
  • Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
  • Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.
  • Assigned the most complex products or product lines.
  • Considered a subject matter expert.
  • Experience leading initiatives that span multiple technical product lines or platforms, mentoring less experienced product managers, and working closely with leadership to shape their org’s overall technical product strategy.
  • Writes features and sets the direction for a group of teams OR writes epics and sets the direction for multiple groups of teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers.
  • Guide product development by detailing software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and support trade-off discussions and negotiations.
  • Ensure product viability and alignment with business goals by monitoring performance, serving as the voice of the customer, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Participate in sprint planning, support feature refinement, and act as a subject matter expert within the organization for assigned products or product lines.
