As a Principal Systems Project Engineer (PSPE) for Honeywell Anthem, you will serve as the senior technical leader responsible for avionics hardware strategy and execution across multiple integrated equipment platforms. This role functions as an umbrella hardware leadership position, accountable for driving consistency, compliance, and disciplined execution across individual pieces of avionics hardware that together make up the Anthem ecosystem. You will define and lead the hardware development and qualification strategy, ensuring consistent tactical execution across programs while meeting stringent regulatory and customer requirements. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in avionics hardware and embedded software development, with direct application of DO‑254 and DO‑160 standards to qualify safety‑critical airborne hardware. In this role, you will direct and mentor a team of Project Engineering Specialists (PES), providing technical direction, prioritization, and execution governance across multiple programs. You will operate at the intersection of engineering leadership, regulatory compliance, and program execution, influencing both near-term delivery and long-term hardware strategy.
