The Propulsion Engine Control Systems Group is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the development and integration of engine control systems for our propulsion gas turbine engine portfolio. In this role, you will ensure that current and emerging control systems meet evolving customer needs, acting as a technical focal point for internal stakeholders, a mentor to less experienced engineers, and a consultant to leadership. You will be responsible for the development, qualification, and support of propulsion turbine engine control systems and related development equipment, with a focus on full authority digital engine control (FADEC) systems, especially the Electronic Control Unit. As a technical leader, you will help ensure that the ECU and associated systems meet the needs of internal and external customers. The future of aviation engine control is calling. Requirements

  • Experience in engine control system development, particularly for gas turbines or internal combustion engines.
  • Customer interface experience.
