About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment. This role can be based out of Tewksbury, Andover, Marlborough MA or Pelham NH.

Requirements

Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
Experience with model-based engineering.
Experience in developing and managing requirements.
Experience with C++, Python, or similar
Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.

Responsibilities

Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Work across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
