About The Position

Capstone Research Corporation is seeking to expand our team. Capstone Research Corporation is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama. We are a customer-oriented engineering services company providing world class research and development support across the Department of Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Missile Defense Agency (MDA). We have an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who will support development of a strategic Cyber Testing approach across the Department of War in Huntsville, AL. This will be a high visibility position for Capstone Research Corporation with a significant opportunity for growth. Salary for this position will depend on experience.

Requirements

BS Engineering (MS Preferred) with 20+ years of technical and project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios.
Experience running complex system of systems programs/projects across their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and sustainment.
Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies
Ability to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the Company.
Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 6-12 trips per year with multiple destinations
Top Secret Security Clearance
Must be US Citizen

Responsibilities

Support high-visibility critical aspects of Cyber Testing.
Develop and execute system architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verification.
Provide direct systems engineering support and oversee engineering services with team members to serve the technical needs of the program.
Develop and execute integrated test plans for the efforts.
Manage the effort to include staffing and associated budget.
Coordinate efforts of multiple government and industry partners
Provide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholders.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Cyber Testing by identifying customer needs and revenue sources that can be leveraged with company capabilities.
