About The Position

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a full-time position that requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the documentation of all phases of the design, implementation, and maintenance for the deployment of new systems or upgrading current systems to FS sites (e.g. drafting preliminary design reviews, mission transition plans).

Requirements

• TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance
• Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems and SIGINT platforms
• Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe)
• Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments
• Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment
• Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols
• Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices
• Ability to create detailed system documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (JIRA and Confluence)
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharepoint
