About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars and Sensors Center is seeking a SubCPT (Cross Product Team) Lead to join the "Agile Release Train" (ART) team supporting the AN/TPY-2 radar product line. The AN/TPY-2 radar is a state-of-the-art missile defense system operating in the X-band, with a flawless performance record against ballistic missiles. The ART team advances radar capabilities through Arbitrary Waveform Generation (AWFG) and Advanced Signal Processing (ASP), including cutting-edge GPU software development and innovative radar system applications. Requirements

Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience leading a technical team while managing execution of technical, cost and schedule performance.
Experience in Systems Engineering, Software Development and/or Integration and Test.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Oversee Systems Engineering, Software, and Systems Integration and Test (SIT) efforts, managing technical scope, cost, and schedule.
Lead an interdisciplinary team of engineers, managing technical scope, cost, and schedule.
Develop and manage financial, schedule, and staffing plans for the teams and ART.
Act as the primary liaison between project teams and senior engineering leadership, providing updates on execution plans and status.
Ensure compliance with common processes across disciplines.
Support new business efforts such as Basis of Estimate (BOE) development for proposals and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).
Communicate effectively with ART teams and leadership to ensure alignment and success.
