About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Principal Logistics Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Woburn, MA. In this role, you will be an integral part of the LCE team, working alongside talented professionals and engaging directly with internal stakeholders and customer program leaders. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) ensures our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. Our team supports the entire product lifecycle, from conception to deactivation, with a focus on product support disciplines, including Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Technical Data Packages such as drawings, parts lists and/or electrical schematics.
  • Experience using GEIA-STD-0007 and/or MIL-STD-1388 compliant software.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks or CreoView.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting system drawings.
  • Proficiency in performing Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (e.g., Poisson-Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar tools).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • "Hands-on" experience with hardware repair and maintenance.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Product Data (LPD) development and maintenance, in accordance with standards like GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-STD-1388-2B.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as EAGLE, POWERLOG, or SLICWave.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and/or Control Account Management (CAM).
  • Familiarity with U.S. military supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed Logistics Supportability Analyses (LSA), provisioning data for parts, and spares analysis for hardware across product lines.
  • Apply advanced logistics principles to design and implement complex program-level concepts and execution plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Program Directors, and Program Managers, to ensure seamless integration of logistics strategies into overall program objectives.
  • Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to support proposal efforts and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Act as an interface between internal teams, stakeholders, and customer program leaders to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
