Requirements

Active and transferable DoD Top Secret / SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain SAP clearance and access after start
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Active certification to comply with NIST-8570 (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administration
Windows 10/Server 2016 Administration
Broadcom VMware – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting network issues

Responsibilities

Administration of VMWare ESXi servers
Maintaining Operating Systems (Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux)
Application and Security Patching
Account and Permissions Management using Microsoft Active Directory
Backup and Restore using Rubrik Backup Solutions
Cybersecurity Processes related to Continuous Monitoring of IT Systems
Deploy, update, and maintain Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) systems
Administration of HPE 3Par and Nimble storage solutions
Kubernetes Administration – Rancher RKE2 Distribution
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, and routers
Monitor and analyze network performance and security using tools such as Wireshark and Splunk
Maintain and manage TCP/IP networks, including addressing, routing, and subnetting
Support the implementation and management of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
Collaborate with network engineering teams for the integration of systems across secure networks
