Requirements

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Windows and/or Linux experience.
Experience in one of the following: Active Directory, VMware, networking administration experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.

Responsibilities

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise/Microsoft Windows and environment.
Image and configure new IT assets for deployment to end users.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including processing returned assets into the database and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving end-user issues related to hardware and software.
Manage virtualized environments.
Utilize your experience with Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
Utilize your experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
Utilize your experience in data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
Manage and update IT service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate prioritization within established SLAs.
Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Support other IT operations and tasks as required to ensure effective service delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
Work full time, 100% Onsite position.
