About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems’ Global Supply Chain organization is seeking a Supply Chain Professional to join its Supply Chain Planning team in Annapolis, Maryland. The role manages procurement and material planning activities to support program schedules and contract requirements, including material budgets, cost and performance forecasts, risks, supplier capacity, and critical-path procurements. The position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business, or a related field; alternatively, a master’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in supply chain, business or operations, or financial planning.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems.
• Control Account Manager (CAM) certification.
• Experience with federal and defense contracting requirements, including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR, and DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time requisition releases, purchase order placements, and purchase order delivery dates to maintain program schedules.
• Manage material budgets for contract requirements and support baselining and EVMS requirements.
• Manage, report, and forecast material cost and performance for assigned programs using Cognos, CMEs, and IPRS.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical-path procurements.
• Monitor and address supplier capacity and production issues.
• Operate with business acumen in a fast-paced production environment involving leading-edge technology suppliers.
• Travel up to 10% of the time as required.
