Lead, develop, and execute sourcing strategies for large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, engineered equipment, and construction services, aligned with business stakeholder priorities. Use construction project contract expertise to procure construction EPC/turnkey contracts, achieve project savings targets, negotiate supplier commercial terms and contracts, and manage risk mitigation and post-award contract plans. Provide peer-level coaching and guidance to sourcing specialists. The position also supports standardization of technology and equipment specifications and provides training and coaching to less experienced sourcing professionals. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and eight years of advanced contracting or sourcing experience, as well as project management experience. Travel is up to 20%, and a driver's license is required. Xcel Energy supports a hybrid work model; many roles work onsite three days per week, though expectations vary by role, team, and business needs. The anticipated starting base pay is $112,200 to $159,400 per year.
