Your Impact As a Principal, Studies, Americas, you'll lead major and mega mining studies that support critical investment and development decisions across the Americas. You'll provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination to advance projects from early concept through pre-feasibility while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Project Management, Geoscience, Engineering, Mineral Economics, or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience leading complex mining projects or studies.
  • Strong expertise in study management, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in matrix organizations.
  • Advanced communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and deliver within timelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Lead major or mega mining studies from Conceptual through Pre-Feasibility stages.
  • Manage study scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead permitting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory support activities.
  • Facilitate project transitions from early stage study phases into feasibility and execution.
