About The Position

The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer leads civil and structural design for natural gas and LNG facility projects, from conceptual studies through construction and commissioning, and owns the technical quality of the civil/structural discipline's work. The role serves as the discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams, advises clients, manages discipline scope, estimates, budgets, and schedules, and guides project design for new, retrofit, and life-extension work at LNG peak shaving plants, gate and regulator stations, and related gas infrastructure. The position directs or performs complex analyses and design-package development, including site and grading plans, stormwater management, equipment foundations, pipe racks and supports, platforms, buildings and enclosures, and secondary containment. It coordinates with geotechnical and survey teams and other engineering disciplines, leads permitting and agency interactions, and represents the discipline in design and constructability reviews. The engineer also leads inspections and field assessments, resolves construction issues, reviews technical deliverables, seals drawings and calculations as Professional Engineer of record, mentors less experienced staff, promotes safe work practices, and develops internal standards and design guidance.
