Our partnerships with leading cloud, design and business intelligence platforms fuel our expertise. We value deep relationships, dedication to serving others and inclusion. We drive positive outcomes for our people and our business, and we stay true to our commitments and act in harmony with our words. We exist to create significant opportunity for people to achieve fulfillment through career success. Ready to join us? Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: We're looking for a bold, independent thinker who thrives at the intersection of enterprise strategy and architecture. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do — it's for a leader who challenges conventional thinking, brings a distinct point of view, and drives outcomes without hesitation. You connect strategy to execution. You build frameworks that resonate. You walk into a C-suite conversation without a safety net and say something worth hearing — then back it up. You listen first, then lead. You develop the people around you. And when the engagement ends, the client knows exactly what they got and wants more.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in management consulting, strategic IT consulting, enterprise architecture, or equivalent senior roles with breadth — across strategy, architecture, technology, and client-facing consulting.
  • Management consulting experience preferred — you know how to structure a problem, build a framework, and deliver work clients will act on.
  • Deep, applied experience in enterprise and solution architecture — not just advisory familiarity. You have designed things that got built.
  • Proven track record at Principal or equivalent level: you have owned client relationships, led engagements, and grown accounts without supervision.
  • You are a self-starter — you lead and drive next steps without waiting for direction.
  • You are an exceptional communicator — in writing and in person. You adapt your message to your audience without dumbing it down or losing the substance.
  • You collaborate across groups — delivery, sales, practice leadership, and client stakeholders — without losing momentum.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
  • You have command of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent) and apply them in practice, not just reference them in decks.
  • Broad technology depth across one or more of: data platforms, cloud infrastructure, systems integration, process architecture, AI/ML platforms.
  • You can go deep with architects and engineers, then walk into a boardroom and make the same ideas land with a CEO. That range is not optional — it is the job.
  • Fluency in enterprise AI architecture: RAG, agentic workflows, model fine-tuning tradeoffs, and AI-ready data infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native data, analytics, and AI services.

Nice To Haves

  • TOGAF or equivalent; Archimate (The Open Group); FEAF / DoDAF.
  • AI practitioner credentials — platform-specific (Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer, AWS Certified ML) or vendor certifications such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent emerging AI platforms.
  • ITIL 4 Strategic Leader or equivalent.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent).
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or OCM equivalent.
  • CBAP (IIBA) or BIZBOK.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly decompose complex, ambiguous client problems into structured frameworks and actionable recommendations — without waiting for direction.
  • Assess client landscapes with depth and rigor — identifying gaps, opportunities, and maturity levels — and translate findings into strategic direction tied to real business outcomes.
  • Connect enterprise strategy to execution through architecture, roadmaps, and sequenced plans that clients can actually follow.
  • Translate every engagement into a concrete next step — a roadmap, an artifact, a scoped SOW. Never open-ended dialogue that goes nowhere.
  • Walk into C-suite and board-level conversations independently — credible, prepared, and without senior cover.
  • Command the room through credibility and preparation, not title. Make complex ideas land with any audience.
  • Design and lead high-impact workshops — from executive alignment and strategy sessions to working sessions that produce decisions, artifacts, and prioritized next steps.
  • Bring business and IT into the same room and make sure they leave speaking the same language.
  • Bring an independent, defensible point of view grounded in domain authority. Tell clients what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear.
  • Apply Enterprise Architecture frameworks pragmatically — not just theoretically. You know the frameworks and know when to flex them.
  • Assess current-state architecture honestly and define target-state with clarity, charting a pragmatic path between the two.
  • Develop architecture artifacts — capability models, value stream maps, integration diagrams, operating model designs — as strategic consulting tools, not documentation exercises.
  • Design target-state architectures built for where the business is going, spanning application, data, integration, and AI layers.
  • Connect architecture decisions to financial and operational impact — making the business case clear and defensible to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Stay current on modern architecture patterns — cloud-native design, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, AI-ready infrastructure — and know when each is the right tool for the job.
  • Design and architect AI-enabled enterprise solutions — buildable, adoptable, and grounded in client context, not generic blueprints.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases based on feasibility, ROI, and strategic alignment — and pressure-test them before recommending pursuit.
  • Help clients evaluate platform and tooling options across foundation model providers, enterprise AI platforms, and MLOps infrastructure — and make sound build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Bring fluency in enterprise AI architecture: RAG, agentic workflows, model fine-tuning tradeoffs, and AI-ready data infrastructure — credible with tech teams and able to translate it into recommendations that land with executives.
  • Develop governance models and responsible AI frameworks — risk, regulatory considerations, and ethical guardrails — built in from the start, not bolted on after.
  • Recognize that technology delivery alone does not create value. Advise on the organizational and behavioral side of AI adoption — ensuring change and enablement are part of every AI engagement.
  • Actively grow accounts — identify revenue opportunities and initiate conversations about new work without prompting.
  • Write statements of work, scope and price engagements independently — you own the commercial side without needing a handler.
  • Navigate enterprise sales conversations without senior cover — qualify, shape, and advance opportunities to a close.
  • Contribute to proposals, pursuit efforts, and practice go-to-market positioning.
  • Develop junior consultants and architects — give direct feedback, share your thinking, and hold a high quality bar.
  • Run high-performing engagement teams — set clear direction, manage quality, and ensure client outcomes are met.
  • Model what Principal-level looks like — self-direction, intellectual curiosity, bias toward action, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Contribute to offering development, internal knowledge sharing, and capability frameworks that make the practice stronger.
