Principal SRO Engineer

As a Principal SRO Engineer you will work on the new generation of reactors like the AP300 SMR and eVinci microreactor, the new fleet of AP1000® and the operating fleet from all over the world. Building your skills based on actual operating plant experience combined with advanced plant design will be a major accelerator for your career in the nuclear industry. You will report to the Nuclear Operations Supervisor and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of applicable experience
- Reactor Operator License - Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Responsibilities
- Our operations team collaborates with plant designers and system engineers to define the best and safest way to operate nuclear plants.
- You will use your knowledge about integrated plant operations to update the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures.
- You will then validate multiple scenarios in control room simulators, before they are implemented in plants worldwide.
- Your scope will include the operating fleet (worldwide) and the next generation of nuclear plants (AP1000s, SMRs and microreactors), giving you learning and development opportunities in both worlds.
