Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Management (Onsite)
About The Position
As a Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Strategy, you will work within cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise preferred supplier selection and cost management supporting new product development and strategic initiatives. What You Will Do: Interface with NPI teams to align on preferred strategic suppliers for new program developments Evaluate technology life cycle to ensure future availability of material Develop and implement supplier risk mitigation plans for material availability Develop supply chain strategies to meet or exceed material cost objectives for program success Oversee development and implementation of sourcing strategies for components, subcontracted items, and contract manufacturers Lead and facilitate product focused improvement events and drive value engineering to advance cost, quality, and producibility goals Participate as member of commodity-based Technology Team as applicable What You Will Learn: Supply Chain Strategies RTX Lifecycle Program Management Product Focused Initiatives Value Analysis and Value Engineering
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or related industry
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment working with direct production materials
- Project management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the organization as a contact on projects and gain cooperation of others
- Skills in Lean, Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE
Responsibilities
