About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a candidate for the Principal Specialist, Materials Planning, SIOP role. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or experience with other production driven environments .
  • Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations.
  • Experience with Integrated Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Depot, Sales and Operations Planning as well as Inventory Management
  • Experience with Age Dated/Shelf-life Materials
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Develop Bills of Material for assemblies in multiple production factories.
  • Advanced knowledge in age-dated material management.
  • Support analysis of material consumption, new product transition to production efforts and align communication with the factory team to drive action plans.
  • Develop and implement new processes or standards that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results.
  • Coordinate interdependent activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Program personnel, Quality and Engineering.
  • Participate in CORE projects to improve existing processes and accomplish continuous improvement.
  • Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures, and influence factory and program decision making.
  • Coordinate with supplier to resolve supply problems.
