This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Mississauga and performed exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • College diploma in Engineering Technology with minimum 8 years experience, or Engineering Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (experience with Catia highly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of drafting principles, GD&T, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and teamwork skills.
  • Microsoft 365 apps is an assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and modify detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings, stack ups, using CAD software Catia.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry and company standards, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ASME Y14.5.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to support the development of high-quality products.
  • Maintain and update procedure documentation.
  • Works autonomously with limited oversight. May provide input or guidance to lower level professionals with tasks and assignments.
  • Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
  • Comply with EH&S policy and applicable regulatory requirements
