About The Position

The Raytheon organization has an immediate opening to join our team as a Principal Specialist - Accounting & Controllership. This role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable Raytheon level experience within RTX and insight into how strategic management decisions impact the bottom-line performance of the company. Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Working experience with SAP and/or APEX and/or PRISM or similar financial systems
  • Working experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lead PRISM team meetings on essential work product (pegging error resolution, cost shift analysis, project closure processing, material grouping and linking).
  • Experience with the Manufacturing Process, Supply and Demand, and/or Inventory Management.
  • Solid analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), PRISM or comparable MRP Tool.
  • Customer oriented/user-friendly approach to problem solving.
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills and the ability to work with other Finance/Accounting/Business team members.
  • Professional communication skills, including composing and responding to email, Teams chats, and Teams calls.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze MRP supply and demand issues and contact internal customers for resolution.
  • Research exception/non-program accounts (scrap, stock differences and excess).
  • Provide daily/weekly reporting of GPD errors utilizing PRISM MRP data.
  • Assist with new material group set-ups, ensuring correct grouping of operative WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) elements.
  • Assist team members with analysis of inventory cost shifts, undistributed costs, and variance research.
  • Provide support for all Project Closure activities, working with several cross functional teams.
  • Provide full-service support to internal customers including interacting with various functions such as Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Finance, Program Management, and Logistics, to identify and resolve grouping, pegging, and distribution errors, and complete PRISM closures.
  • Perform extensive Cost Shift analysis and variance research.
  • Support any other required business objectives.
