About The Position

Lead the design, development, and execution of a modern, scalable, and resilient architecture for BSS by leveraging cloud-native technologies, microservices, SaaS, and event-driven approaches. Define and execute the roadmap for BSS transformation including legacy system migration, domain-driven design, and adoption of architectural best practices. Architect integrated omnichannel solutions to deliver seamless and consistent customer journeys across all digital and physical touchpoints. Embed AI and machine learning capabilities including large language models and generative AI into BSS domains to drive automation, personalization, and intelligent decision-making. Champion a domain-centric approach by ensuring clear separation of concerns, optimized data flows, and high cohesion in business domains such as Customer Management, Product Catalog, Order Management, and Billing. Evaluate and integrate vendor products, SaaS solutions, and APIs, applying industry standards (TM Forum, 3GPP, Open APIs) and modern API management practices. Collaborate and engage with business, product, engineering, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and evolving customer needs. Establish and enforce architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure quality, security, privacy, and compliance including privacy and consent frameworks. Leverage architectural modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/logging tools to drive efficiency, reliability, and observability. Mentor and inspire solution architects and cross functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Transform consumer technology platform into a cutting-edge and cloud-native ecosystem. Collaborate with diverse teams from business partners to fellow architects and lead the architectural vision that powers innovation and delivers seamless customer experiences in the LTE, 5G, and broadband space. Work with minimal oversight, consult senior leadership and influence executive decisions. Serve as a mentor and assist others with challenging issues.

Requirements

• Requires a master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Engineering and 7 years of experience in the job offered, or 7 years of experience in a related occupation applying knowledge in architecting cloud-native, microservices, and SaaS solutions including AWS, Azure, and GCP; applying understanding of BSS domains and processes including customer management, product catalog, order management, billing, and revenue management; applying experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architectures, and API management; and applying knowledge of omnichannel strategies, digital transformation, and customer journey optimization.
