Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with coding software in Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience in software development and/or software integration.
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Full-Stack experience developing a React or Angular based application.
  • Experience making high-level architecture decisions on design and determine appropriate tech stack to use.
  • Experience working in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix, GIT, and SQL.
  • Experience with JIRA, Gitlab, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

  • Architects and designs full stack web-based application.
  • Help modernize legacy software to a modern microservice and web-based application.
  • Supports troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applications.
  • Expected to troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance.
  • Performs testing, integration and delivery of new software baselines.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of a complex system in operations.
