About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer / Developer (Level 5) to support the Phantom Works Software Engineering team in Berkeley, Missouri, in the St. Louis area. The role supports Boeing Defense, Space & Security and the Phantom Works Open Architecture Systems Integrated Software (OASIS) Solutions team, defining, developing, and leading software development for real-time air and/or space systems in an Agile environment. The position works closely across teams to integrate software and hardware components supporting mission-critical defense infrastructure. The role also involves managing supplier software deliveries, coordinating with Systems and Integration & Test leads, tracking delivery metrics, mentoring engineers, and documenting integration and test results. Occasional travel to California (10%) may be required. Relocation is available based on eligibility. Candidates must complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process and satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment. The position is not contingent upon program award, is not safety-sensitive, and the employer will not sponsor employment visas.
