About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join one of their subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer by providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems on a large government contract. The focus is on STATE MANAGEMENT, which involves capturing, tracking, managing, reporting, brokering, and enriching current and historical metadata for mission analytic workflow processes. GliaCell Technologies specializes in Software & System Engineering within Enterprise and Cyber Security, utilizing Agile Software Development principles to deliver stable and reliable solutions. Their Enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. They also offer solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Advanced Persistent Threat prevention.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance (in-scope poly, within 7 years).
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong full-stack software developer with functional UI experience but primarily focused on backend web services and servers.
  • Experience with open-source tools is required (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Tomcat, Spring, JMS and AWS).
