Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with C++ application code development and Linux/Unix.
  • Broad real-time, multi-threaded software development experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. Government issued Interim Secret security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Radar software development experience.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Design knowledge.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, performance, etc.) and best practices.
  • Experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System) or other requirements traceability tool.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust and scalable software in C++ running Linux or UNIX operating systems using Agile development methods.
  • Design, implement, debug, and problem solve Radar Software Applications while providing feedback to other team members.
  • Work in a team environment to understand end-user requirements and translate these into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
  • Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
