About The Position

NVIDIA is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Networking within its DGX Cloud division to advance software-defined networking infrastructure using EVPN and BGP architectures. The role contributes to designing and building multi-tenant networking solutions and shaping networking strategies for NVIDIA technologies. It includes software development, code review, collaboration with network fabric (underlay) architecture teams, and ensuring networking processes meet high standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 15 years of networking experience, including some emphasis on systems and software engineering.
Extensive experience with BGP, EVPN, IP subnetting, and overlay networking.
Ability to write software to solve networking problems in any language.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a diligent approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Demonstrated experience in software development and code reviews.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in Computer Science or an associated field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with cloud-based networking solutions.
Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies and platforms.
Published works or contributions to open-source networking projects.
