About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of their subcontracts. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. This is a full-time position. The role involves the design, development, maintenance, and operation of ANSWERLAKE, a backend system that provides compliant storage and access for analytic results and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that support enterprise outcomes.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years).
U.S. Citizenship.
20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi disciplinary team.
