About The Position

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Test) with a strong background in software testing and automation. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and over 8 years of experience. The position involves significant hands-on work with lab and hardware-in-the-loop integration, requiring 100% onsite presence. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
• 8+ years of experience in software test/automated software test
• Script Writing (Python)
• Familiarity writing automated tests
• Test automation using Python and scripting tools
• Lab and hardware-in-the-loop integration
• Ability to work onsite 100%
• Ability to travel 10%

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Proficient in Python development
• Digital simulation (SIL/MIL/HIL) and closed-loop testing
• Systems Integration Experience
• Proficient in C++
• Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform software test and automated software test.
• Write scripts using Python.
• Develop automated tests.
• Conduct test automation using Python and scripting tools.
• Engage in lab and hardware-in-the-loop integration.
• Perform requirements-based testing and traceability.
• Conduct digital simulation (SIL/MIL/HIL) and closed-loop testing.
• Engage in systems integration.
• Communicate and document complex technical designs.
• Work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Utilize excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
